Daniel Souza

Daniel Souza, PT, DPT, Owner

  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, California State University, Long Beach
  • Daniel specializes in sports medicine and orthopedics.

Daniel is married to his college sweetheart, Terri (who is also a Physical therapist). They moved to San Clemente in 1986 and shortly thereafter opened SCOR Physical Therapy in 1988 and Rancho Santa Margarita Physical Therapy in 1992.

They have two married sons who are in Public Service. One is a Firefighter and the other is in Law Enforcement for the City of Ontario.

Michael Polvere, PT, DPT, Clinic Director

  • Bachelor of Arts in Biology, University Of Redlands

His passion for human performance developed through his athletic career, playing football, baseball, and golfing. After playing football for 4 years at University of Redlands, Mike continued his education and career in Physical Therapy. He has advanced coursework in manual therapy and remains passionate to help people of varying levels of function – from elite athletes to leisurely walkers. In his free time, Mike spends his time outside fishing, hunting, golfing, and hiking with his wife and two dogs.

Andy Feingold, PT, MPT

  • Master of Physical Therapy, Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific
  • Bachelor of Science in Pre-Physical Therapy, San Francisco State University
  • Andy specializes in cervical, thoracic, lumbar spinal dysfunction (worked 10 years at the SpineCare Center in Tuscaloosa, AL), arthritic conditions, shoulder, and knee pathology.

Andy spent 20 years in Alabama and relocated back to SoCal in 2017 to be closer to family. He has a wife, Robyn, who is from Birmingham, AL, and two children, Danielle and Jacob. He is involved in family activities and spends time enjoying the car culture.

Kirsten Hertzler, DPT

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy, Chapman University
  • Bachelor of Arts Exercise Science, Point Loma Nazarene University

Kirsten Hertzler, DPT, is a San Clemente native and San Clemente High School Alumni. As a track and field athlete at SCHS, Kirsten knew of SCOR Physical Therapy and their connection to the community and eventually worked as a Physical Therapy Aide before attending the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Chapman University. After graduating, she returned to SCOR as Physical Therapist with the goal of helping her patients return to doing the things they love. In her free time, you can find Kirsten running, swimming, cycling, and going to the beach with her husband Jeff and newborn Griffin.

Kirstyn Hwang, MAT, ATC

  • Master of Athletic Training, Charleston Southern University
  • Bachelor of Science, University of North Carolina at Charlotte

Kirstyn is originally from North Carolina. She and her husband moved to SoCal in 2022. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. They love snowboarding, hiking, going to the dog beach, and exploring all that California has to offer.

Theresa Saragoza, CMT, CLT

Theresa is a Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage Practitioner and Massage Therapist with over 20 years in the field of massage and bodywork. She specializes in Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD), Post-Surgical Recovery, Oncology, and Therapeutic Massage. She is passionate and dedicated to continuously advancing her education and skills, providing her clients with safe, effective and excellent care. In her free time, Theresa enjoys yoga, paddle boarding, and spending time with friends and family.
